Admission Procedure
Admission is based on the merit in all India AIEEE test conducted by CBSE on 01/5/2011 and 11/05/2011 for the session 2011-12.
Two third of seats are filled through counseling conducted by Punjab Technical University and one third though Management quota by the college in its Campus.

Admission through Counseling

Punjab Technical University, conducts on-line counseling for admission at state level for all colleges in Punjab for B.Tech for two third of the intake.
After allotment of seat through counseling, a candidate is required to get admission in the allotted college by submitting allotment letter, paying notified tuition and other fees and relevant original certificates.

Admission through Management Quota seats

An applicant may register in the college for admission through Management Quota. He/she may come to the college personally or contact through phone 9855888188.

Eligibility

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics andMathematics as compulsory subjects along with one the following subjects:

• Chemistry
• Biotechnology
• Computer Science
• Biology

B.Tech(LEET)

LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME

Admission through Lateral Entry to the B.TechProgrammes for diploma holders at the second year level is made on the basis of relative merit of the candidates in the Lateral Entry Engineering Test(LEET) conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar/Aggregate of Diploma marks. Candidates admitted under this category study the same courses, as ordained in the regular scheme of respective B.Techprogrammes, from 3rd semester onwards.

Seats
Diploma students can select any of the following engineering branches to get Lateral Entry

• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering                          
• Electronics & Electrical Engineering                         
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering                                            

Eligibility

Those candidates who have passed their 10th or 10+2 examination with science stream and have passed diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh or SantLongowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.

OR

The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from SantLongowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.

Fee
Fee can be paid by either of the following two modes:

• Bank Draft favoring GianJyoti Group of Institutions payable at Mohali
• Cash payment
